History
Located in the heart of Hale County, Texas; Hale Center EMS has been providing emergency medical service for Hale Center, Cotton Center, Petersburg and the surrounding rural area since July 24, 1974. Starting out as a volunteer service HCEMS has grow far beyond what was imagined 50 years ago.
Governed by a Board of Directors and South Plains Emergency Medical Services, we are a 501(c)3 non profit organization, funded by private donations, as well as financial assistance from the Cities of Hale Center, Petersburg and Hale County. With rising costs private donations are necessary for us to maintain our equipment and staff. We strive to continue to serve our communities with the best emergency medical care possible. We are so grateful for the wonderful support we receive from businesses and individuals. We look forward to your continued support.
